Did you know that in the Adriatic there is a Guinness World Record sailing race, considered the largest sailing race in the world?
The Barcolana in Trieste is a unique event that involves the city for a week, with concerts and stands dedicated to sailing and more, culminating on Sunday morning with an international manifestation now in its 55th edition.
The best performing boats will be present, and many other boats will all compete in the most spectacular race in the world!.

The Gulf of Trieste will be enlivened by thousands of boats, all with their sails unfurled, ready to race against each other - a unique thrill and an event so special and enthralling that it cannot be missed!
The start will be at 10.30 a.m. and depending on the wind and sea we are sure to see some great things!

SPECTATOR FOR A DAY
Departure from Isola at 8.30 a.m. and positioning near the starting line. We will follow the boats closely, seeing the regatta from a unique angle!

2 DAYS ON A BOAT AND THE BARCOLANA
The nearby city of Trieste awaits you on Saturdays with many events, including concerts and culinary stands. The best way to experience the city and the regatta is to stay with us for two nights. You will be able to move around freely on both the Slovenian and Italian coasts, returning in the evening to a unique and cosy atmosphere.
